The idea is to send an SMS containing a codeword to a Pocket PC with installed VITO FindMe and receive back your friend’s coordinates via SMS as well. Input the coordinates into the search box at Google Maps and see your friend’s location. It’s that easy!
After a casual installation VITO FindMe stays in Today, tapping it brings forward the settings. In options you need to set a codeword: VITO FindMe will send out your coordinates only in return to received SMS with this codeword. In addition to this VITO FindMe can send your coordinates via email if the contact that requested your location has an associated email.
easily spot your friends on Google Maps

jokstars Review

Tested/Working on: WM5 - MDA Compact 3 with built in GPS
Not working on : N/A
Not Tested on : 2003SE WM6
Rating: 10/10 - gobsmacking stuff!
Comment: Does exactly what it says on the tin! it does take a minute or 2 to get a gps fix but thats done in the background and does not stop you doing anything on the pda. Instantly texts or emails a code to be input into google maps to show current location to sender.

No more hiding from the wife guys

I have E-ten X500 pda which comes with an app LocationSMS. I can open it and SMS my location. But that's for me if I want to let others know about my location. Vito FindMe will complete my pda by having an ability to be found by others when they want. :D
