Comment: High-quality MP3 ringtones are mostly appreciated by young users but identifying the caller just by listening to the playing tone is another use of having unique ringtone for each contact which makes this feature interesting even for business-class users.
Ringo Mobile lets you assign MP3 ringtones to each contact or a group of contacts as well as using specific SMS alerts. The interface is user friendly, it automatically searches for all available supported audio files on both the main memory and storage card, a preview button is available to help you hear the chosen ringtone and two separated lists are provided for single contacts settings and group management.
All ringtone settings will remain in memory after closing the application and will be resumed even after soft-reset. It doesn't take too long to use custom ringtones and you won't notice any noticeable delay when you have an incoming call or message.
Ringo Mobile should be installed to the main memory that means it occupies something about 2.30MB of memory. When an audio file from the storage card is selected as ringtone, Ringo Mobile will prompt you and a small portion of it (256KB) will be copied to the main memory.
Except these mentioned subjects, there was nothing else that could be considered as disadvantages of this ringtone management tool.
