Lukewarm_water,
Since you appear to know something about this type of apps, could you recommend which one is the best, and why?
Thanks.

metosim honestly speaking all are just the same.. it hardly makes any difference which one you install.. just make sure to test it by changing SIM with one from your friend and see that it works..

I have UTA Theft Alert installed on my PPC... why? because it was the very first to release this software.. and all of the later releases seems a direct copy of it.. so I chose the original one.. also its version 3.. which means they have come right from version 1 and kept on improving it.. as opposed to all other these new version 1 releases of it..

UTA has just released version 3.5 of it popular software... I am waiting for someone to comeup with a keygen for that.. it will be the best and reliable software for this purpose I think..

Lukewarm_water,
A few months ago I researched this a bit, and found that there were the following apps:
SCPSOFT RemoteProtect, Carty Studios Ultimate Theft Alert, Evenbyte Phone Security System and Mycnknow Eye On Thief.
I made a comparison table (which wasn't easy, as the vendors didn't always supply enough information, and further, they all had at least some common functionality, but gave it different names).
Bottom line it seemed that SCPSOFT RemoteProtect gave the most functionality.
Although I accept your line of reasoning (that this is probably a more robust application, having ben longer on the market).

Unfortunately after I installed it and started the application it asked me a password and I presumed I had to use the key generater which was aking me my IMEI number ad generating a key. But after entering that serial to the application, it closes itself and nothing happens...

Has anybody tried it?

By the way I have found this application which is free and sends the GPS coordinates of the PDA. I pbelieve it should work only on the PDAs which has GPS. I am not sure though...

Here is the link for MobileJustice;

For sagyTB

Yes, this application stay after a hard reset. Simply because it's installing on the Extended Room, witch is the part of the room where we can install special programs on phone edition, while installing a room.
