A .CAB file a day, for mobile users on the way, keeps installation problems away...

< .CAB file link(s) > added to opening post. (Unless specified all .CAB files are Rapidshare links)

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans
- Look HERE to find out how to install a .CAB file

I am currently using version 2.x and would definitely not recommend people to upgrade to this version 3!

I tried it and found it just awful!
* Accent characters are no more supported!
* An alternate big and non vectorial font is used to display names!
* Nice looking Vista Skin (version 2) is now replaced by ugly buttons! (these aren't the ones you see on the thread's screenshot, go to see on the homepage!)
* A lot of options in the settings have just disappeared!

I had to revert back to version 2 on my Qtek S200 WM5 Phone Edition!

Cheers,
Teknasia

I like this tool. It´s fast, small and very usefull. I never saw V 2.x, so i don´t miss anything.
And in germany i have no problems with accent chars.
And i think there will be some nice skins in a few days.

This application is simply awesome. Like Christian72D, I never tried v2.x, so I'm only seeing how well v3.0 works. A new skin would be nice - the default is pretty horrid, but functional. Using AEButton+, I've been able to keep the original dialer, but map this to a double press of the green button. :)

Here's a Vista skin that works with v3.0:

Now if I could just get the keygen to work... errors out with a CF 2.0 error on device, but it's WM6 which includes CF 2.0... and I've tried updating it and it won't let me. :-/

Either way, $20 WRZ donated. Thanks OP!

Just try the keygen on your PC and not yor PPC. You mentioned CF 2 and not .Net Framework 2, so i think you took the wrong device. ;)

Nope, the NFO says to run it on the device. I did actually already try it on PC and it says not a valid Win32 application. I've had issues with other programs that require the .Net Compact Framework 2.0 (CF 2.0)... basically they just don't work. (One I really would love to have!) Anyone else having such an issue on the Sprint/HTC Mogul? I haven't done any ROM updates or anything, but I'm thinking of giving that a try. I see one is out, but the changelog doesn't address any issues related to CF 2.0. Thanks for the reply. :)

More on the ROM Update: (from Gizmodo) "HTC's just posted a software ROM update for the Sprint Mogul that improves Bluetooth, fixes the Alarm (it didn't go off when your phone was charging!), and fixes some Sprint Music Store stuff. It's not a huge update, so if you don't have any huge problems with your Mogul you can get away with not updating."

::EDIT:: Turns out I had a bad download of the keygen - it DOES run from the PC! :D
Also, here is a skin a buddy made. It looks better when you have all the components together, but screenshots would reveal my contacts and I'm not about to do that. ;) Just replace all files in the installed directory with the ones in this ZIP. (Of course backup your originals so you can go back easily if you want.)
