Hi..!!! Great software.. but...
when I recive a new sms my PPC dont play the ringtone (SMS sound) anymore, its normal? anybody can fixed it?

They said that they would fix in the next release - but obviously not.

WHat you have to do (i guess youre using phonealarm or something? - not the default WM program to do it all).

Go to settings > personal > sounds & notifications - 2nd tab along the bottom and then set the "new text message" tone.

It only takes WAV files, and they need to be in your PPC's Windows directory.

Untill they fix it obviously.

No My friend... Im not use Phonealarm, nothing.. I use only Address Book 2; when I go to settings > personal > sounds & notifications, and select: NEW text message, ok.. and the sound WAV, but when I press X buttom to exit from the settings, the option of NEW text message sound is Uncheck again... (sorry for my english).. any sugestion?

Do you have any software to change the default notifications?
Also, do you use the profiles (the default ones) to change to/from silent&normal modes.
Mine are in Settings > System > HP Profiles (may well be different for you).

Make sure you have set the text messaging sound up in your normal profile.

Other than that, i cant think of anything, sorry.

Mine did the same as you the first time, but then was fine afterwards.

Make sure though, that you have SMS-Chat CLOSED - and closed properly, not just minimised, then make the changes to your sound/notification.

I'd soft reset youre device, then make the changes, leave it for about a min, soft reset again - then wait till you get a txt to see if it changes.

Solved!! My SMS antispam from Kaspersky Antivirus made the problem.. program works ok now..!! thanks..

A .CAB file a day, for mobile users on the way, keeps installation problems away...

i found this application very nice but in the long run i uninstalled it as it does not let me add contacts from a recieved sms not email so its a pain to get to the sms the traditional way as the default sms is Vito SMS

Sure, I made a pretty lengthy post on my home forum (ppcgeeks) which is currently being moved to a bigger server (yay).

I'll copy and paste it here as soon as it becomes available again.

Ok, here's the rundown on some of the welcome changes to the application:

1. New layout (takes a little getting used to, nothing major) which displays the type of number next to the contact in the newly titled Chats window e.g. Chaosxj349 Mobile. The buttons on the main Chats window have been moved to the top, leaving more room for finger "flickability".

2. Best addition to the app - Numbers/Letters on the side to easily scroll to you contacts to send them a text, or add them to a group text. It looks very similar to the one in Vito Funcontacts, but the contacts scroll with the letters.

3. So far so good, messages are being sent without more than a 3 second delay, and I'm getting 97% of my wav/vibrating notifications for new incoming messages every time, no matter if the app is minimised or closed.

4. The message notification still pops up over s2u2 (I ain't know bout y'all, but I have no problems with that, makes my lazy life a whole lot easier)

5. Predictive text is working now, but there is still no auto capitalization of the first letter in the first word of the text. Still a tad bit annoying, but bearable.

6. Shows the number of characters in a newly composed sms, and shows whether it will be sent as one message, two messages, etc.

7. You can copy and paste text in new messages now, but you can't copy and paste from previously sent and received messages. And most importantly, you can't add a new contact if someone sends you a new telephone number via sms, and you want to click on the number to start the default add contact scenario.
