Indeed, at a first glance, their layout and symbols are not exactly the way we are used to see in standard interfaces: the digits are small and are placed in the corner and the letters are big and not all of them are displayed. But just think of it: do you often try to dial the number without using the address book? Do you actually need all letters displayed, even those that you never use to search for the contact you need? The answer is evident! Look at the unique layout of letters and you will find it not only comfortable but even enjoyable to use!
Simplicity and friendly design combined with «neither fleshy nor fancy» principle - these are the basis of the product concept.
