Looks like a pretty fine app. However i cant get past the desktop installer. It says installing to device and then hangs for quite some time till a error says install file damaged, try reinstalling.

Actually, you are correct. The desktop installer has a bug in it's code, that improperly runs the installation on the device. However, the CAB's are still good (and I already uploaded them, and will post them here for anyone who needs them. If you need WM2003, let me know, and I will also upload that cab.).

This software is actually really fast, and has a lot of unique features, that make the phone functions of a Windows Mobile Device, a real pleasure to use. It has a lot of interesting ways to integrate into the Dialer, and works really well.

newer version (v1.1) including .cab files released HERE.

great program - very fast and smooth... BUT:
1. doesn't look good on my treo square screen - missing some options on bottom of screen and can't see bottom 3 digits on dialer.
2. doesn't recognize contacts with only company name and no first, last name - tags them as "un-named".
3. no or limited functionality for keypad and d-pad

and still... looks and runs like an iphone (sorry for the BLASPHEMY comparing to an iphone...)
in short, if I had a rectangular VGA screen I'd dump my VITO funcontacts for this app.

Hard question to answer. IMHO i think Inesoft Phone v4.1 is better. Im using Incosoft Phonex at the mo, and test it out for a while so i can fully compare the two

i think PhoneEx is more simple and easy to operate , especially with their today plugin... is so cool... is fully change your phone canvas skin
but no T9 search for contact...

Iconsoft Phone Extension's Author told at other forum that they are working under Smart-Dial and Search function introduction. And hopefully it'll be realised after 2 weeks.
Meanwhile 1.1.0 version is available.
