I see some people lose there maincamera,I'm very sorry to hear that I use this soft every day and experienced no problems at al.
First I 'm not the developer of this app and it has been a while since I posted this It,But I can't remember posting a .cab file?
The zipfile has only a standalone application so there is NO INSTALATION only unzip to... wherever you like.
I'm not an expert but to me it's not plausible that this does any harm to your device.
So my question to the people who lost there maincamera button. did you use the cabfile ? if yes! Can somebody check what exactly the cabfile does ??

Just found an easy way to enable the front camera of i8000 to take photos.... just put in the following registry :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\Camera
"SupportFrontCamera"=dword:1

Afterwards, you'll notice in the camera software there is an additional choice for self protrait photos, choosing this mode will enable you to take photo using the front camera

Found this on Modaco ( http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizon-sch-i920-omnia-ii-http-i8000-modaco-com/298752/enable-i8000-front-camera-to-take-photos/ )
thanks @ user Ray1234

I Really love it. No issues, no loss of main camera. Everything perfect!

Regards, Tobi

If you don't want to tweak the registry, you can download the EnableFrontCamera.cab from modaco here. I am using a lot of the cabs there and they work great.
