remotePROTECT
Requirements: Pocket PC 2003 (Phone enabled), Windows Mobile 5.0, .NET Compact Framework v2
Overview: Total Thief Protection including Notification of SIM change, Remote Kill, Remote Lock, Remote Unlock, Retreive IMSI and IMEI details.
Image

Features:
1. Thief protection, if the SIM is changed then a SMS (showing the IMEI and IMSI) is sent to a user defined number
2. Remote Kill the device , including the SD card
3. Remote Lock the device
4. Remote Unlock the device
5. Retrieve the IMSI and IMEI of the device

After each command that is received a response is sent back to the requestors number confirming that the requested operation has completed.

The built in thief protection is invaluable, if your device is stolen and the SIM changed then a SMS is sent to the user defined telephone number. The SMS messages will include the IMEI and IMSI that is in use , if the SIM allows for the telephone to be sent then this will also be received. Whilst the SMS message is being sent the device will lock so the thief will not have access to your device.

The lock screen can be configured to allow a number of retries before the device will self wipe, removing data from the SD card and hard resting the device.

Man this is truly valuable. I have had 2 of my phones lost before and was always worried on how to trace it, and what about the data on it.....
This should atleast give me hopes of getting it back, and not having to worry of the data on it.

Does this application have a version for non-pda phones like motorola, nokias etc?

Thanx again

I know, 15 WRZ$ reward. Its because of the replacement of the PPC Warez database and the movement. The last 30 minutes of records were wiped.

Well... I used some kind of tool to unlock the ROM and installed the program there, then locked back the ROM. but I don't think many know how to disarm this, because When he boots up the PDA, message has been already sent, and remotePROTECT blocks the PDA and asks for your password.
Then even if the theft puts back the original SIM, he needs to know the password.
SMS will be also sent to the other phone number.
I tested this piece of software, and I really love it :)
My PDA was once stolen, and I managed to get it back. Now I'm going to take care of it :)
