Carty Studios Ultimate Theft Alert v3.397
Requirements: Windows mobile 2003 and higher (Phone editions only)
Overview: Gets you the thief' mobile# when your device is stolen..!
Image

Ultimate Theft Alert is an innovative stealth software that sends the thief's contact number to you when your device is stolen.

The software works hidden in the device and checks the SIM card every time the device is booted. So when an unmatched SIM to the Owner's is recognized, it sends an SMS using the thief's SIM card to your pre-defined mobile number (Maybe to your Dad'/Partner' number). So its like getting the thief' mobile number itself! It also sends the new SIM' IMSI details and the new Owner name, e-mail, Address and everything. So the thief is leaving you with his visiting card itself! What more do you need? Every device requires this application!

And you can set any number of SIM's to be recognized as your own and only the rest is identified as thief'.

The software will also not let the thief know that its been running or an SMS has been sent from his SIM. Works completely hidden!

You need to install .NET Framework v2.0 on your PPC first before it will work. You can get it from Microsoft HERE.
After that's installed and you've soft reset, copy over the KeyMaker.exe and Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll into your UTA config folder and run the KeyMaker.exe. Delete the text in the top text box and replace it with your Owner Name and hit the button to create a key.

Job done! :)

I'm trying to activate the software. I have the keygen running on the ppc in the same folder as the config app. But after I enter the device ID, and then I click write keyfile, nothing happens only a lot of number appear in the register info what do I do with them??

Running the keymaker file, the key is automatically created. You have to do nothing else after this for the registration.

I am running the keymaker file and it gives me a long number too:

My device ID is:

358065000077090

And the key generated is:

[160][228][168][99][51][25][150][34][112][3][10][69][198][66][243]

Than I go to register tab and write the key, it connects to their server and tells me its a invalid key.

I tried with owner name too but nothing happens.. :(

Registering Solution
=============

I had problems also. For those of you who are having problems registering the software, do the following.

1) Go to your "PROGRAM FILES\UTA CONFIG" folder (where ever it is, mine was on device not on memory card) and run "UTA CONFIG.EXE"
2) Go to last tab and note your Device ID Number, then click "SAVE AND EXIT" (Make sure you close it)
3) Copy "KEYMAKER.EXE" and "MICROSOFT.VISUALBASIC.DLL" into this same folder and run the keymaker. It should run so long as you have the .net framework installed on your device. If not, go to:-
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9655156b-356b-4a2 ... layLang=en
4) Type in your device ID number noted from number 2 above (this is not your device ID name).
5) Click on "WRITE KEYFILE" loads of numbers apear and nothing else seems to happen, thats fone!! Close the Keymaker.
6) All done!! Load UTA Config again and go to last tab and you will see it is registered.

Hope this helps.
Enjoy!!

scatterered what you are teling is that it should register on itself when i run the keymaker file and I dont have to manually write in the key.. well it dosent..

yes i have installed Net CF from the link above, did a soft reset.. copied the files, run the keymaker file.. wrote my owner name.. it gave me key.. (and it should have registered the software).. but than i run uta config and its still in trial mode.. so i tried manually writing the key, both with owner name and device ID.. but still its unregistered..

Lukewarm_water, I've just tried it all again on my device after deleting the config file that the keymaker generates in the Windows folder and it worked fine for me.

The file it creates is called "RecordDUI_UTA.txt" and is located in \Windows
On my device it contains the following all on one line:-
[160] [228] [167] [100] [52] [21] [150] [34] [114] [3] [12] [74] [207] [75] [246] [20] [170]

This is off course the same number as you can see in the keymaker but in the keymaker you do need to click in the box and scroll to the right to see the whole number!!!

The other thing to try is when your typing in your device ID number make sure you delete the whole of the previous text including the spaces in front of it where it says ".......(spaces).........Enter Device ID here".

If I delete the generated file then it goes back to trial version. See if that helps.
