05.03.2007(v2.5.2): Italian language was added.

To silence the alarm clock on my 8525, I'd turn the scroller/volume wheel. I lost that functionality after installing this program but everything else works great. Very useful!

I'd rate this program 9.5/10 (I can live without the scoller silence haha).

Comment: Hardware buttons are very handy when we're trying to do something one handedly without pulling out the stylus. But is there enough buttons? Can we map them to all the tasks we would like to do without stylus? Is there anyway to assign more tasks to a single button?
AE Button Plus uses an innovative way to increase your hardware buttons virtually! After installing it, each button can be assigned to four different tasks. single, double, triple keypress events and one hold state are available for each button. Not only programmable buttons but also D-Pad control buttons, green and red phone buttons and even softkeys can be remapped.
There are some predefined macros such as simulating other hardware buttons, select all, cut/copy/paste functions, task manager, toggling bluetooth and wifi, etc.
One of the most interesting concepts of this tool is that it doesn't override the default Button maps completely and just those hardware buttons that are programmed by Button Plus are handled with it and the rest are already mapped to their default assignments that are listed in the Buttons applet.
AE Button Plus can be installed to the storage card but in that case a message will be shown each time the application is executed and warn you about eventual problems that may be occurred due to removing storage card.
It requires something about 130KB of memory while running and will be resumed after soft-reset. Other languages such as Russian, French, German, Italian, Polish, Czech and Hebrew are supported as well.
