Oddly enough, I installed and my "about" section still shows me running 2.30.172 version.

So, I uninstalled all Pocket Mechanic, and reinstalled, yet again, same thing, still shows this old version in the 'about' section?

I even unregistered, unistalled and then reinstalled and reregistered. Same result.

I used the WM5 CAB version posted above.

Same experience. I did what Lukewarm suggested, downloaded the file from wizcode. I just hope that there are no triggers on the file from wizcode. I used the serial above. So far, working just fine.

Uninstall, then use resco explorer to edit the following registry entries:

HKLM\Software\Anton Tomov

remove PMP_APP key and Pocket Mechanic Professional folder. If you do not have anything else from Anton, such as Pocket Hack Master etc, then just remove the HKLM\Software\Anton Tomov folder altogether.

Reinstall cab and it probably tells your trial expired and just activate with the new key.

Okay, THIS time it worked with a d/l from the website. I wonder why the cab file at the top of this thread for WM5 didn't seem to work. Anyone else use it? Wondering if perhaps the wrong file was posted up?

Anyway, thanks for offering the advice all, and thanks to the original poster regardless.

Yes I think you are right.. the EXE file posted above in opening post is of earlier older version and not the current one stated in thread title..
