And lastly, recover you say? Anton's crapware has trashed my ppc and swiped my data too many times already, so for me sktools all the way...[/quote]
So here it is the cause of my problems and a reason to upgrade to WM 5.
I got 2 times of hard reset of my 2410 and I did not know why. Accidentaly I read about this so I can say that it really pissed me off. Why it is doing I do not know. i think that hte period between 2 hard resets isn't similar, bu tI can say it cause your system to hang out and not to turn on, and when I push soft reset button it makes it self a hard reset....
Something similar ??

one should be really careful when using AT products as they are know to cause hard resets or even brick your phone.
its happened in this forum and in others aswell.
I steer away from AT, specially since there are alternatives.

ok guys when i installed this ver i was also screwed like you ppl but one idea i devised helped me beat Anton in his own game. Here are three steps to help you get running this ver like theres no stopping, just remember to disconnect internet from ur ppc and desktop pc while u follow these steps.
1. I guess ur already having this screwed up version on ur ppc. Install ver. 2.24.166 or below on this new ver from ur desktop pc. Proceed with reinstall/upgrade prompt and choose ur install location.
2. This ver 2.24.166 or below will already be showing as Registered when u goto the Registration page. Choose the 'Unregister' command, proceed to unregister the older version of Pocket Mechanic and exit the app.
3. Now install the new version 2.45.xxx and proceed with reinstall/upgrade, choose the install location, start Pocket Mechanic, it'll ask you to register, enter this reg. no. 0E2-A06-409-A80-67F-109-815 and voila!!! SUCCESS!!!
There wont be any nagging piracy screen as before and the app will work like a faithful dog.
HELLO!!! ANTON, WAT DO U SAY NOW????
