PIM Backup v2.0(Release date 20/06/2007)
- added escape character in text, so the parsing of csv text works in all cases.
- added binary backups for fastness and reliability. (A tool will be provided in the future to allow to convert text backups to binary backups and vice-versa).
- schedule problem fixed.
- added UNC folders names for default folders (inbox, outbox, sent items, drafts, deleted items) in messages, so the restore could be done on a device having another language.
- fixed the problem of messages stored in folders at the same level as Inbox
- creation of temporary backup files can be either in memory or in the backup destination folder.

EXCELLENT NEW UPDATE

But there is a unique problem when I update my ROM and tried to restore the speed dial settings it would not. It restored all other data except the speed dial data.

Is there any update for this. Please inform when available

THANKS A LOT

Hey guys I installed this version on the 22nd and from that day on this version gave me a lot of problems.

If you try to create a shortcut and try to run it, it would sometimes show PIM Backup not available, etc. It also blocks certain games and software once you run this version.

Whoever made this must double check the version problem.

I reverted back to V1.9 and all is fine.

Has anyone else faced this problem and has anyone got a solution to it or the reason for happening.
