This app name no more HTC X-Button, But the correct name is HTC Task Manager v1.51 Build 30229.

Extract the app folder, copy to ppc, use file explorer to run task manager file.

Hello,

Installed it on my PPC running AKU 3.5 WM5.
I just copied the files in \windows, overwriting the original files.
After a reset the icon apeared on the top right hand side and it seemed to work.
But if i close an app with the X button or access the program through control panel my whole windows shell crashes and asks for a reset.
????

no, that build is 29977, this one has 30299. afaik this is also v1.5.1 and not v1.5

Yup, i was having same problem - shell crash having need to reboot. On top of that i couldnt remove the program. Used sktools but didnt work - i could have if my safe mode was working but alas i had to do a hard reset. Turned out ok though - now ive got a cleaner pocketpc
