I switched over to this from sprite which came with my HTC Kaiser.
this software I find is more intuitive and the immediate benefit is that with sprite you need to reset before backup AND after backup.
With SPB Backup you only need reset after the backup.
The compression of the file is 2-3 times better storage space wise and it is over MUCH quicker than sprite.
If you can handle managing the files yourself rather than having it all automated over Actvesync, you will appreciate this software much more.

Mini review - I tried SPB backup, and got a series of error messages about different databases not being backed up. I posted a question on their forum, and they could not work out what files were not being backed up. So it didn't give me a good feeling...

I'm using Sunnysoft's Backup Manager, it schedules and runs perfectly for me. Have a look at it.
