Personally I don't like versions greater than 2.16 because, after that, a new resident program has been introduced. It occupies memory and it's always running even when not using the usb card reader interface.

Btw, all those version have some problems with large SD cards like mine (see below), because when transferring multiple or large files, the emulated card reader often disconnects, and corrupted files result.

That's my own experience. Anybody ?
