Overview: ClearTemp is an application for you to clear temporary/unused files and unused registry keys/values on your system easily. It also allows you to clear your Recent Program List, Internet Address History and boot count. You can even change the location of the temporary folders (Cache, History & Cookies) or e-mail attachment folder to the Storage Card. If you have custom folders which you wish to clear, you can also add them in.



Usage Notes:
- You can tick/untick certain items to scan/clean.
- Use "Clean" from the tools menu to start clearing selected item(s).
- You can go to the options dialog from the tools menu.
- In the Options dialog, you can change location of temp files or e-mail attachments by making the change in the dropdown list(s).
- You can also specify the location of Custom Folder 1 and 2 in the Options dialog.
- You can also enable auto cleaning of temp files and custom folders on system start up by ticking the start up option in the Options dialog.
- Tap on "Apply" button to confirm the new settings in the Options dialog.
- After changing the location of the temp files, please exit the program, save your work and perform a soft reset to complete the process.

- Removed "Background Apps" due to serious issues on unicode systems.
- Creating of shortcut for Express Mode in unicode folders fixed.
- Clearing Recent Program List in unicode folders now works.
- Detection of dead shortcuts in unicode systems now works correctly.

- Faster cleaning of Recent Program List.

Comment: Temporary file is a file that might be created by a program when it cannot allocate enough memory for its tasks or the program is working on data bigger than architecture’s address space. Modern operating systems employ virtual memory, however programs that use large amounts of data may need to create temporary files. Despite of the fact that these files are absolutely useless after closing the program session, it’s a wise ploy to remove them every now and then.
ClearTemp is a very small and handy tool which lets you remove all temporary files on your PocketPC device. The user interface is very simple and a few menu items and customization options are provided. It removes almost all useless files such as temporary files stored in Temp folders in addition to cache, cookies and history of PIE and Opera as well as large email attachments and dead shortcuts and registry keys. You may choose which files should be removed by selecting the desired temporary file category. There are a few options available such as defining two custom folders which are mostly useful for WMDRM files.
It requires 27KB of storage memory and can be installed to the storage card.
