Did I miss something? Why is everybody suddenly acting like this is new software? Wasn't this version released 6 months ago?

On Handango it's even worse. They just made a piece of software from may 2005 the software of 2007! I just don't get it...

I don't understand that either.
Agreed, it's a great piece of software
but afaik there weren't any major changes in the last time,
no innovations, nothing.

This is the reason I am in favor of posting minor revisions in the original release thread. A simple post listing 'whats new' and 'download it here'. Just my opinion though

Ok let's look at the changes:

More devices supported
-> well, for me it worked anyway, no change for me

problems fixed
--> hum, never found any bugs, so no change for me

Performance and stability increased
--> imho it was already pretty fast, again no change for me

... ok new version = new icons and
"Alpha channel support for Today Plug-in icons "
great ^^ that wouldn't be worth buying a "new" version

any _major_ changes ?

But btw: I would also like to see a little changelog when a new version of an earlier known software is released

#20614 by HBK - logon troubled :)
AND these changes are from April, not October! So old, old stuff. Now, if SPB were to add support for AKU 3.2 and release a new build, THEN it would be worth looking at. But this 6 months old release? :)

I have installed this program on to my phone twice but both times it seemed to make my phone sluggish and would send my sms repeatedly to the same person. Any idea what i'm doing wrong. I like the close feature and being able to have the backlight control on the today screen. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Very well known problem. It occurs when you click the Close button of Messaging before the message is sent. Then your mobile WILL send the same message twice.

Either wait till the message has been sent, or add the file \windows\tmail.exe to exceptions, meaning it will only minimize, not close when you hit the X

Thank you for the input. i noticed that my cingular 8125 is slower when i run spb pocket plus, i got rid of some of the features and it seems better. I have read about people over clocking this phone. Would that help? Is it something that is worth the risk and if so how would one go about doing it? Thank you again for all your help.
