AE Software Keyboard Mapper v1.3
Requirements: PPC 2002 and above
Overview: AE Keyboard Mapper is designed for remapping keys of almost any external or built-in hardware keyboard connected to Windows Mobile device. You may use it for "localizing" keyboards (if OEM keyboard driver does not support your language) or just for remapping some keys (e.g. conversion AZERTY to QUERTY, adding absent Ctrl key functionality or bind application to keys).
Image

The main features of this key remapper are:

* flexible enough and highly customizable through simple plain-text configs;
* supports up to 4 keyboard layouts;
* may be used as "resident" application switching active layouts by specified hot key or as unloadable application associated with hot key using standart Windows Mobile button binding;
* supports layouts with one or two sets of "accented" characters;
* allows generation unicode characters (free or activated mode) or hardware keystrokes with Ctrl/Alt/Shift/Win combinations (available in ACTIVATED MODE ONLY);
* allows binding external applications to keys (available in ACTIVATED MODE ONLY);
* stores all settings in file configs instead of registry for easy maintaining if installed to permanent storage;
* supports alternative character set for sending to "permanent beta" ICQ client for Pocket PC (useful for non-English layouts)
While AE Keyboard Mapper is not "driver-level" software it should work with any hardware keyboard supported by system.

This might sound dumb but have you tried ADVANCE CONFIG 3.3 (http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-configuration-tool/downloads.html) because theres a setting in it to change keyboard layouts as it helped me change my KB for my AT&T 8525 (same as your PDA but American)as the shift letters was all wrong. I'm sure theres a setting you can change it to normal QWERTY if not you can always download a english rom like Kareems RevRom (best Hermes rom I've found)

The setting in Advance Config is Input:Keyboard Layout

Hi dear Farshid
I worked on a map for HTC PRO2 which supports Persian Language completely. Other options such as using FN key in PRO2 is added too. I spent several hours on it in order to make it easy to use and fast to type. As you know pro2s in Iran have arabic lable on keyboard and I tried to make it compatible both with the labels and with standard persian supporting computer keyboard .I also tried to add the 4 letters doesn't exist in Arabic in appropriate places and eliminate some Arabic ones which aren't used in Persian. I tried different keys to find the best. as I was an amateur one I took me such long time.
I just wanted you to have a look at it and see if there is any problem with it yet. (there seems to be a problem with Capes lock key)

download link

I'm really looking forward for your comments on it.
