I have 2 problems:

1) When I try to extract the files inside a RAR archive, my device freezes (Kaiser). Any suggestion?

2) Anyone knows how could I change the columns widths in the Report mode? In previous version I could change it.

Resco Explorer 2008 is an excellent application, but fancy icons aside, the built in ftp and registry editor are the only things that make this file manager stand out! OH! Wait! Thats right, the freely available and quite excellent "Total Commander" does all that in a flash, without all the fancy "bloatware". But all in all its an excellent program. I just happen to think TC does it a bit better!

I wonder if TC has "file encrypt" feature ?

I'd leave it at a matter of choice and personal preference between this and TC...I started out with Resco Explorer some years back and just haven't looked back since and the updates keep on making this an awesome prog. The recent addition of "Touch" functionality is just awesome!

Release Tester's Review

Tested/Working on: WM5, WM6
Not tested on: PPC 2002, 2003+SE
Rating: Originality: 10/10 - Quality: 8/10 - Performance vs similar products: 10/10 -- Average: 9/10
Comment: Microsoft is once again been shown-up by a third party programming company in Resco (specifically Resco File Explorer). The Microsoft file explorer does what it has to and nother more: navigates through the directories of your device. This makes it really hard to do anything else and forces one to go out and look for other third party applications to get the job done for other things. Resco has really changed all this and revonavated the way I use my device. Exploring the files is perhaps the number one thing i do (as well as many others) on my device (in order to replace cracks, delete/add things, modify stuff, etc). Resco decides to release this outstanding version which is moving towards the "stylus-free" technology in including its fabulous finger scrolling technology. Sure, one can say that File Explorer with the use of touchflo allows that, however the two don't even compare in performance. Resco File Explorer lets you scroll down almost a complete list within only one swipe of the finger. The accuracy is amazing, however this is where selecting files becomes a slight problem. At times, instead of selecting a file, you scroll which could be very annoying. We should look into Resco fixing this with upcoming versions. The other add-ons such as the ftp and network browser work wonders. Network sharing has never been made easier using this add-on, however the FTP client works with some fpt's and not others for some reason. By default, Resco also hides files with certain extensions which makes opening certain folders (Windows one in specific) much faster. Overall, this program is just amazing and I never have to now look back into using the old useless File Explorer.

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans
- Look HERE to find out how to install a .CAB file

CAB Installation procedures:

- No need for serial: just install by clicking on the .CAB

- Insane: use linked serial while changing name on device to "Insane" with Easysetowner3
- Instructions: link to installation instructions
- mob. part: .CAB file for mobile part, program also needs desktop installation or desktop patch

Please don't pollute this forum with requests...

--> If you need a CAB file for a release,
--> if you need a personal key or serial,
--> if you are stuck in a game
--> if you have been waiting more than a week for a new download link
