Task Manager v3.1 (Freeware)
Requirements: PocketPC 2003(SE), WM5, WM6
Overview: The Task manager application is a bunch of several useful tools in just one tool. This is a kind of Task Manager, although the name is maybe not appropriated anymore because of all the stuff it provides now. But at the beginning it was just made to manage all running processes as the Task Manager does in Windows on a normal pc.

Features:
- Process manager
- CPU usage
- Application Manager
- Service Manager
- Device Manager (only WM2005 and above)
- Windows Manager

- IP Config utility
- Ping utility
- Net Stats utility
- Registry Editor
- Run program utility
(Each application tab can be disabled (if the application is not needed) from the Tabs and Buttons settings window)

- add sort in exported functions
- add sort on notifications tab
- add regedit keep settings for navbar, statusbar and splitter

At one point dotfred's task manager was the best thing out there! But now, IMHO it has been obsoleted by the htc task manager. dotfred seems to planning a bunch of bloat features to his bloatware. I mean come on! its a task manager that includes an ipconfig utility and ping? htc task manager is small, keeps to task managing and does it very well!

hi. there's a problem about this task manager. I am using htc touch hd with wm 6.1. everytime the the today screen clock brought by htc changes its minute, the task manager closes. why is that? is there a good alternative task manager? i love this one, because it has process manager and all that stuff, reg editor, soft reset button and storage information. i need a programm that combines all these things, but which is also working with the home screen from htc that covers the wm 6.1 home screen.
thanx in advance!

spratelboing... I looked for months to find a task manager that actually works with the HTC Touch Pro and would actually CLOSE applications from the back button. HTC Task manager DOESN'T WORK with the back button which I find is absolutely crazy... it's there own hardware for pete's sake!!!

The only task manager application that I have found to work 100% is DinarSoft's HandySwitcher. I guess the operation of the Touch Pro and Touch HD are very similar so if it works for me it should work for you.
