Did you do something extra?
I installed, and turned to card export, my computer see the new drive letter, but not the drive. I mean If I choose that drive it wait about 10 sec, and then say error, no such drive :(
Do i need something else to set? HTC TyTN

And also it freezes my TyTN several times :(

Thanks,
Rob

This code is tricky, after all better ActiveSync! It's not at all much faster and the SD Card become a "read only" disk, one can read files but not move or delete them. CF Card works fine. So, don't be so excited by this crappy code!!! Tried on a WM5 hx4700 and very disapointed.

I use an external cardreader to write larger files to a SD/CF card, it's so much faster, and for the normal little things/files ActiveSync will do just fine is my opinion.

@cici
Check in the preferences you have not set the card to read only, also there is a "feature" in the software which randomly makes the card read only AND adds about 7 "ghost" drives when you connect to the PC because it knows you are using a keygen to get the serial.
What you need to do is open the the preferences option and click ok before you connect to the PC. This will save the correct options and you should be able to read and write to the card.

I have tried this, click ok before plugging the usb, but the card which is not the 'default' card always ends up being read only :(

Are you using a SD card, because they have a little slider switch or tab which sets the card as read only.

That is the only thing I can think of. if not try to uninstall the app and get an older version.

hope this helps

i don;t have file store as my default card option i am using 2200 the list says 2210
above default card i have card export and active sync, what does each one do?
also, my preferences are number of storage (1)
storage card (sd card)
exported (check)
read only (not check)
protect mb (check)
map to this unit and something that i can't read because it got cut off (1)
what exautly is protect mb?
also, what does this actually do? if you have a ppc and pc you could just use active sync right? most computer now have sd slots so just take your card out and plug it in your pc
so what exaulty is this for?
thanks

From what I have read, the Protect MBR is there so when you connect to the PC using your phone set as "Card Reader" you are unable to format the card.

The reason I use this software is because
1. Some of the computers I work with do not have a SD card slot
2. I have a case which encloses on the whole phone, if I want to take the card out I need to take the phone out of the case, which is a pain on the butt
3. Some of the computers I work with do no have ActiveSync installed
4. ActiveSync file transfer is SLOW and unreliable, granted the phone only works as a USB1.1 device, but it is still better when activesync transfers. I tried to transfer a 35meg MP3 onto the phone and it failed twice before it was successful and when it worked it took forever.

Hope this helps :)
