SlimBatteryMeter v1.0.0 (Freeware)
Requirements: Pocket PC with WM 5.0, 6.0, 6.1, 7, All WM with Compact Framework 3.5 Installed
Overview: Battery Meter always on top

Image

Battery Meter is a small software created by myself to always show the battery charge. It puts a small line in the top of the TaskBar where the battery level is shown as a progress bar (the more the progress bar is close to 100% the more the battery is fully charged).

When the battery is charging the progress bar starts a loop from 0% to the percentage level of the battery and when the charge is complete the bar blinks.

This application does not require any installation, simply copy it where you want and launch it (you can make a shortcut in the automatic start to have it loaded when the PPC or smartphone starts).

This software is totally free and it can be downloaded from the link below.

Please donate WRZ$ if you download this application (sorry for my bad english).

I prefere 'Batty' it has a lot more options an has animation when charging.
If you are the developer of this, you should take a look at it. There is still room for improvement.

.
It's discontinuated but its the best of its kind as far as I know. Correct me if I am wrong.

You are right, Batti has more features than my SlimBatteryMeter, but i tested Batti with some fullscreen program and the battery meter disappears or blinks with a worst effect (for example with TOM TOM it disappears). My software is always on top even if you launch a fullscreen application. For me it is very useful to know the battery level when a program is in fullscreen (this is the main reason for wich i decided to develope SlimBatteryMeter). My application has animation when charging like Batti. However Batti is a good software and if i have free time i will reproduce some of its features in my SlimBatteryMeter.

Thank you for your interest

It seems good, but it would be nice to be able to stop it when playing full screen video. As it is, the orange and yellow disappear when Coreplayer is full screen leaving just red, green and grey

NOT workong on HTC touch 2. It blocks the view (and the use) of both the start and the X/OK (to close, or ok a program)

This program works on Asus P735. It's true while viewing video in full screen the battery meter still visible. I just terminate the program using task manager for viewing video in full screen. It can be reactivated easily.
