VolumeKeys 0.3 - Volume Control (freeware)
Requirements: WM 5 and above, WQVGA, WVGA, VGA, QVGA, .NET 3.5
Overview: Simply a finger friendly and cool looking volume control by ponchofiesta's from xda. You can control it with the volume keys of your device or with your finger/stylus (but it has to be opened with the volume keys first).
Supports (W)(Q)VGA (means VGA, WVGA, QVGA and WQVGA).

It's written in C# for .NET 3.5 so you need to have the .NET Framework 3.5 installed on your device.

The "0" in major section of the version means it is beta and could have some bugs and/or is not feature complete.

Known issues / TODO:
- Speaker icon does not change
- no landscape support
- does not save volume if you slide up/down outside the bar
- does not work with in call volume
- seams to block some keys (send/end)

Changelog:
0.4 / not yet released
- added landscape support
- fixed bug: volume not saved when slide outside the bar
- hopefully does not block keys
- added update check
0.3 / 2009-12-11
- (W)QVGA support added (tested with emulator)
- settings program is in english now
0.2 / 2009-12-10
- fixed problem with FM Radio and Windows Media Player
- settings are configurable
- VGA support added
- some bugs fixed
0.1 / 2009-12-08
- initial release

I'm trying to understand why someone would want to write a program of this nature.
After all.... to increase/decrease the volume all you have to do is press the volume rocker switch found on most devices.

Maybe I am missing something!
Anyone care to explain why we need this application?

Thanks. :)

haha...what you said do make sense but there's some people who like eye candy stuff for their ppc. Comparatively this do looks more attractive than the default one

Thanks..... I thought for a second I had missed something here.

Appreciate you doing the info & links for those that would like this..... It's not for me though. I'll save memory and processor time to something else.

Sometimes, i want to go directly to one level of volume. With the built in hardware button, thats not possible. Thats my point, and my interest in using this app. Ah! and is very cute :D

May not be possible on your phone and some others granted.
Luckily the HTC Touch HD & HD2 (which I have) can.

So for those who can't get to the speaker level this sofware is great for you. :D
