Changelog
15-1-2010 Version 1.5

* Note that some registry settings have been changed into new ones for version 1.5, because of greater flexibility and easier configuration.
* Some small adaptions to save a very small amount of battery (use resources as efficient as possible), probably you cannot measure it
* Do not update clock and battery content with screen off and when no power plugged in (the latter because you can still use it with MyMobiler with screen off and power on)
* Do not get the latest information from the battery device driver, but use cached information that may be out-of-date by several seconds.
* When an PBT_POWERINFOCHANGE battery percentage update is notified, also reset the polling time to 3 minutes, to avoid getting extra battery info
* Removed boot/startup delay
* Separate BattClock Config program
* Added option to see free memory
* Added option to show info divided into 3 lines
* Option font color to be dependent on the battery/memory status
* Add icon possibility as background and draw info on top of it, good for people having not a solid color or nicer looking icon alike
* Added settings BattClockInfo1, BattClockInfo2, BattClockInfo3, BattClockVersion, MemoryIndicator, LowThreshold, MediumThreshold, LowColor, MediumColor, HighColor
* Removed settings ShowTime, ShowBattery, DateDDMM, DateMMDD, Clock12, and UseLeadingZeros (replaced by BattClockInfo1, BattClockInfo2 and BattClockInfo3)

#
How to install?
# Copy the BattClock.x.x.CAB file from your computer to your phone
# Go via the explorer to the location where you copied the .CAB file and click on it to start installation
# Advice is to install it to the Phone memory and not to the Memory card, BattClock is very small and so it also works in "DiskDrive" mode
# A possible previous version of BattClock is automatically deinstalled
# The CAB file may be removed from the phone after installation
# Alternatively, you can install AppToDate application and install future updates via AppToDate program
# The separate BattConfig is one exe, which you can download separately, copy somewhere to your phone and just start there.
# If you do not want to install BattClock.CAB but just want to try without harming your phone, you can download separately the standalone BattClock.exe, copy somewhere to your phone and just start there.

I'm not quite understanding something...this version is supposed to have a separate config program but I am not seeing it on my phone. I even went and downloaded directly from the developers site and it is the same thing...am I missing something here? I do not get the screen as shown in the post.

I am using the T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro 2 with SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.1

OK I got it figured out after visiting the developers site: Here's the link to the BattConfig program - could you please add to original post?

I see you are using this on a Tmobile Touch Pro 2
I was wondering what it did to your battery life. I used a cab called tbattery for % but it didnt work. I only saw the 4 bars. I installed a custom Taskbar and it displayed the %. But it didnt function right. AFter 2 hours off the charger my phone was at %50. And then 2 hours later 32%, and it just stayed at 32% till the next day. '
I was wondering how this worked out for you

Well I installed it late last night and had the phone on the charger all night. Just took it off so I will see how it goes during the day while off the charger.

One thing I have noticed so far is that it only displays battery life in 10% increments - does not display anything like "93%". This could be, however, because I am using the SPB mobile shell and they have a battery indicator widget that only displays in 10% increments so it may be tied to what is displayed in this application.

From what I have read about this app, it is a very small program with a small footprint & is not supposed to use up alot of battery power nor memory. I can confirm from checking my Task Manager program that it is using 1kb of memory to run.

Another thing I noticed about this app. When I flip open the screen (landscape) & I use the SPB Mobile Shell 3D SMS viewer, the taskbar will display the first 2 characters of the time right beside the BattClock. My taskbar will show the signal indicator, then the volume icon and then 1 or 2 numbers (depending on the time) and then the BattClock. It does not show the numbers if I have it in landscape without the SMS viewer open.

If you are using the SPB Mobil Shell & have this problem, here is the fix (when the BattClock is in it's default position over the normal battery icon):

- Launch the BattConfig program
- Set the "X" to -109
- Use the 12h:mm setting for the time (looks the best when next to the volume icon, eliminates any leading zeroes)

Granted you will still have the speaker icon almost touching the time on the BattClock when it's between 10 & 12:59 am or pm(because of the 2 digits in the hour) but at least it looks better for the other 21 hours of the day lol.

I will put up some screens a little later today for HTC Touch Pro 2 users that are using the SPB Mobile Shell
