nice release, but i cant get it working- always says "vgasys.fon" cant be found. and he is right the file is missing in the windows folder. does anyone have a solution ?

To every body: if you like to simulate windows 95 just use this instructions:


let me explain you step by step

1. first install Nyditot_Virtual_Display_5.02 in the internal memory of you pocket pc.
(ابتدا Nyditot_Virtual_Display_5.02 رو روی مموری داخلی پاکت پی سی نصب کنید)
2. install vgakeyin the internal memory of your pocket pc
(برنامه vgakey روی هم در مموری داخلی نصب کنید)
3. install pocketconsole in the internal memory of your pocket pc
(برنامه pocketconsole رو هم در مموری داخلی نصب کنید)
4. extract bochs235 in the external memory of pocket pc
(برنامه bochs رو در مموری خارجی پاکت پی سی باز کنید)
5. )please pick it up from the next of my post here) extract c.img in the folder of bochs235
کار رو خیلی راحت کردم. نیازی نیست که ویندوز رو نصب کنید. یک هارد مجازی درست کردم. کافی است در فولدر bochs235 فایلهای rar رو باز کنید تا c.img در فولدر bochs تشکیل شود.
هر کار کردم اینجا آپ لود نشد پس تو پست های بعدی می گذارم.
6. copy the bochsrc.txt in the root of internal memor of your pocket pc. I mean "\" dont copy this to other folder.
6. فایل bochsrc.txt رو در ریشه اصلی مموری داخلی pocket pc کپی کنید . بسیار مهم است یعنی "\". اگر جای دیگری کپی کنید bochs که به آن نیاز دارد آنرا پیدا نمی کند.
باید آنرا در My Windows Mobile-Based Device کپی کنید.
7. run bochs.exe
برنامه bochs.exe رو اجرا کنید. صفحه 640*480 نیاز دارد پس شما حتما باید قبل از آن Nyditot_Virtual_Display_5.02 رو فعال کرده باشید تا تمام صفحه ویندوز را ببینید. حداقل 5 دقیقه طول می کشد ویندور بالا بیاید.
8. in console window type 6 and enter
8. در صفحه console عدد 6 را بزنید و enter
9. for full screen viewing , avtivate vgakey, press two times fn then press f12 and then f5.
9. برای دیدن تمام صفحه، vgakey رو فعال کنید fn رو دو مرتبه بزنید سپس f12 و بعد f5 رو بزنید.
10. wait atleast 5 minute to boot windows.
10. حداقل 5 دقیقه تا بوت کامل صبر کنید.
11. keep connect your pocket pc to the charger
11. برنامه آنقدر سگنین است که برای خاموش نشدن گوشی باید آنرا به شارژر یا USB وصل کنید.

Does that win 3.11 works for anone? I have acer n311 (windows 3.11 on n311 - what a coinsidence ) and it crashes just after splash screen of 3.11 is displayed in dosbox. The whole dosbox crashed.

I wrote instructions on how to setup Windows95/98 with all necesary on your Device. Go to xda-developers.com and then Developement and Hacking, and search for windows 98/XP on pocket pc thread. My nick is nmilosev.

Oh. Well I haven't been able to get it going on my Axim x5 but I think it is mainly my lack of knowledge about dos.

Is it possible to run NT of the same year on our phones?

Guyz will this allows me to allow to run windows software on PPC? I think it won't but just wanna confirm. Can anybody be more specific to what the software does on PPC.

I run the keygen for spacetime 3 in this windows, but it doesn't work.
Haven't try other apps, but I dont think many apps will work on this emu.

Keygens would probably not work. It is only Windows 3.11 after all. DOS applications might work. Though you'd be better just running them in Bochs or pdosbox on it's own.
