What are Martens? Are they in any relation to Martians? lol.. If so might come in handy if we are ever invaded...

Just a side note.. I personally had a simple standalone unit - got it for less than a buck (I wonder why so cheap!)
I don't think it really worked at all. I 'wore one' on myself as well as had one on my gear pointed at me to kinda 'shower myself' in the sound haha. No go. I still got chewed. I don't know if it detered them at all or what but the noise was also irritating.

I've done some quick googling and the general consensus is that it DOESN'T work. Apparently the theory goes that the frequencies emitted mimic the frequencies that bats use to navigate and seek The Joker and other batlike things. That sound is supposed to trick the mosquitos into thinking that a bat is nearby and they hightail it out. Meh.. try it out and see guys, I'll stick to my Deep Woods OFF! - Sportsman.

It hasn't happened to me but I've seen it eat some other plastics and my friend's watch face.

I have one similar programma but for the nokia 6600 and i wil say it works fine i have this one 8 years and iam happy on my holydays
