LED Lattice Emulator v0.7 (Freeware)
Requirements: PocketPC 2003(SE), WM5, WM6
Overview: A funny app that emulates LED Lattice on your PPC.

You know those windows signs that scroll words with the LED lights in them? Why not have one in your pocket? XDA member xiaojin1985 created a neat app that lets you take a phrase or a picture and turn it into LEDs. So you can write out a message to that car tailgating you in real time You can control the speed, color, size of the LED dots and of course, what it says. In fact, you can even take a bitmap (.bmp) pic and drop it into the folder on your phone and it will turn the picture into an LED image. Take a look at the pic of the Fuze (that’s the drink) that it turned into an LED image. This is just an .exe so there’s no installation so you just copy the folder onto your phone and run the .exe file from your phone to start it up. There’s a picture in the XDA posting on where to press the screen to control the app with your finger (by the way, press and hold it for a second to get to the settings – just pressing will exit the app). Simple to use, very neat and fun. Very well written in fact. This is really a good toy.

for better appreciation of developer's work always direct to the original thread rather than to freewarepocketpc.com
Otherwise it sucks.

I like this better than the other LED program that has been posted recently, but this one still seems to have some issues. The tap-and-hold doesn't always seem to bring up the menu, particularly when using a graphic. At one point, it interfered with the GUI and completely disabled my Windows menu.

(Probably should point out that this was using the Led_Emu.cab—has anyone had better luck with the standalone EXE mentioned in the post?)

Looks like a good start, but I think I'll wait until xiaojin1985 has worked out a few more bugs.

Oh thank you for this useful software! This deserves reward 50wrz$!! Tap and hold-menu does not work for me, but the menu appears, when I tap the left-down corner (if in Portrait Hold). Tapping the left-up corner also changes the txt color :o Amazing app. Anyway, as I got this, I created a black rectangle in a graphic prog (30 x any pixels) for SMALL QVGA and I type various texts with pictures there  Then save it as a bmp and go to the LED
