More Info:
Download Instructions: HOW TO
1. Make sure Opera is not running!
2. Copy/paste fixOperaFlash.exe into your [SD cart], [Main memory] or [Opera's root folder](by default "\windows\opera9\").
3. Execute it by following next rules(very important!):
- If you see warning message about running Opera, close it and after that close Opera(don't kill Opera process, just close it no matter Push Internet is ON) and re run my tool.
- If you already close Opera but still warning pop up appears, then click on Tools menu and uncheck(if checked) Push Internet. Run fixOperaFlash tool after restarting your PPC!
- If you kill Opera with SKTools or something else: run Opera and close it from Menu -> Exit and choose OK button (to close Opera).
4. No need to manually uninstall anymore, because fixOperaFlash will detect if there is need to remove Flash package before to continue.
5. Deploy Flash libraries. If you stuck on that screen, uncheck "silent" and then "delete" checkboxes, which will appear if the deployment process failed and try again. If you are still there after uncheck "delete", install \Windows\FlashLib.cab manually (you can delete that one after the install completed).
6. Chose ActiveX Flash library and register it from the DLL tab. Leave "Auto INI configuration" checked if you are not sure about the INI settings.
- flash.dll is version 7
- IEActiveX.dll is version 9 (recommended)
7. In the INI tab, check Opera's PATH (very important!).
If the text box is GREEN - everything is fine, but RED means that even the PATH is correct, opera.ini AND/OR axobjects.ini are missing there(the missing one will appear with red checkbox (opera1.ini is not important, so don't bother do anything about it))! Also note: the RED text box, will block all PATCH functions in INI tab + will disallow you to observe ini files from Tools -> View menu.
- NPFL3ppc.dll - miss inform websites that Flash 8 is installed (keep it disabled when IEActiveX.dll is in use)
8. Choose your device, but only if it is included in the "UAProf Device" list!!! If it is not, leave it empty. (Check post #4 for further info of supported devices)
9. Patch .ini files (you can restore them later if you want) and Soft reset your device when the tool is done.
- Backup files are with .bup extension, inside Opera's folder.
10. Start Opera and test it!
- If something going wrong - just close Opera, run this tool again and start the Rollback procedure (About tab). Soft reset after Rollback.
