Hi Sarah, pictures with symbols - VGA
I described the pictures fungi symbols - poisonous, inedible and edible.
Sometimes symbol overlap fructification. Symbols I put right up, are more visible.
I suggest installing to the original images and images with symbols.
User chooses himself to be used.

Pictures hub symbols VGA find here http://sites.google.com/site/ponrepocz/grafika/fungi_symbol_VGA.zip

Hi Ponrepo,
agree with Sarah on your excellent work, but have some different view on edibility of some species:

-- Coprinus atramentarius : have always considered as suspect. Should you eat and drink some wine, expect serous threat.
-- phallus impudicus : how can you go near this "phoetens" mushrooms?
-- Laetiporus sulphureus ??
-- Collibia fusipes : have eaten plenty of this !!!

But overall great job. Would like to see some very important mushroom: Amanita ceasarea , Boletus satanas , Tricoloma portentosum .... at least...

TIA
A.

- Coprinus atramentarius: they were always treated as suspicious. You should eat and drink wine, expect a serious threat. Yes Coprinus atramentarius, warning the description - it is English and Czech text complementing some edible symbol warnings. Be added to the help of the importance of the symbol.
Image or Image
Fix, supplementing and give the link.

Help: Edible warning - Please note that under certain circumstances, it is dangerous drinking. Please help in the TXT file is needed to translate another language.

- Laetiporus sulphureus and Phallus impudicus according to the classification are edible. The text will be written disgusting, smells etc.

- Collibia fusipes previously considered edible. It is now considered to be inedible to slightly poisonous, because after fructification eaten more health problems may arise

Also welcome the mushrooms:
- ceasarea Amanita = Amanita caesarea; Caesar's Mushroom = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanita_caesarea
- Boletus satanas Devil's bolete = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boletus_satanas;
- Tricoloma portentosum = Tricholoma portentosum Dingy agaric http ????

P.S. All mushrooms are edible, some only once.

YES, should you eat A. Phalloides you won't have a second time....

I'll be happy to see A Caesarea added....

Hello Sarah,

I have downloaded your software and installed it on my PDA. All went well only after installation the PDA told me that it might that the application would not work well because it was build for an older version of the OS. After running the program this is the case in showing the pictures of the fungi. The pictures are to big and only a part is shown. Any ideas to solve this. The OS I am running is Windows 2003 SE Mobile.

Regards,

Albert

It sounds like you downloaded the VGA sized images and are running them on a QVGA display?
