Requirements: PocketPC 2000/2002
Overview: This application gives PPC2000/PPC2002 a significant visual boost.

Features:
  • POCKET facelift is designed to run on every Pocket PC 2000 / 2002.
  • Any Pocket PC 2002 theme can be used without modifications.
  • Works great with RPA's Theme Master
  • Applications can really be closed with one click on the X-button (no smart minimize).
  • Launch your favourite applications directly from the today screen (large or small icons).
  • The status of memory and batteries can be observed at the today screen.
  • A cascading start menu increases ease of use and convenience.
  • A built-in task switcher and volume control.
  • And many more ...

Download Instructions:
Grab the file from one of the mirrors:
Code: Select allhttp://depositfiles.com/files/565507
http://rapidshare.com/files/13701212/POCKETfacelift_17_English_demo.zip.html

Unzip, connect the pda to your pc, run "POCKETfacelift_FULL_17_English.exe" and enjoy the new look of your PPC. No serial or keygen is needed.

A note: the downloaded file is called "POCKETfacelift_17_English_demo.zip", but it is a full version. I saw some files named *retail*, or *full* deleted by hosts for violating terms of use, so maybe describing it as a demo will prevent it from being removed ;)

< And HERE is the .CAB file >

Version number added. Sorry.
Actually, i don't think it will very well into Today screen category since it affects more than just the today screen - it allows PPC2000 to use PPC2002-like icons, and allows to customize them, adds some system-wide graphical enhancements, adds a cascading start menu, a task switcher, volume regulation, and the ability to close an application instead of just minimizing it.

The app IS quite old - the last version is from 12-Mar-2003. Even if it worked with newer PPC's, i don't see a point in using it with them, since they have most of features added by this program out of the box.

And for the category, i'd put it in sys utilities, but that's your call ;)

Thanks, have been looking for this most of the day at last after hours and hours.

Just upgraded from the very old Casio E-115 and EM500 to two E-125's that I got off EBAY today, this software would not transfer and I had lost my CD with this software on it.

Always usefull, it makes these old MIPS Casio machines very usefull once more, I love these for watching movies and old TV Shows, playing games and MP-3's

A .CAB file a day, for mobile users on the way, keeps installation problems away...

< .CAB file(s) added to opening post. > - unless specified all .CAB files are Rapidshare links

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans
- Look HERE to find out how to install a .CAB file
