Works better than expected. I feared it wouldn't work so well with SPB Pocket Plus, but it integrates better than I imagined.... Tabs within Tabs within Tabs!

Strange ... Really.
I installed it on my Universal (Qtek 9000) even if equipped with WM6 (upgraded recently) operating system.
But I guess that, if it works with WM6 it will work with WM5 system as well.

Have you some other indications to provide for understanding better your problem ?? For example, what is your amount of RAM free before installation ??

Does anyone know how to allocate new programs to categoris ? (ie I'd like to have MORTPLAYER In MULTEMEDIA, not just in PROGRAMS) . Also , how do you remove programs from categories ?

Allow today plugins above Spb Mobile Shell



You just need edit some registry to unlock the spb mobile shell,

HKLM\SOFTWARES\MICROSOFT\TODAY\ITEMS\"SPB MOBILE SHELL"
change TYPE from 5 to 4.

Then you can move it in the today setting page.

OK but do it at your one risk! OK? Good!

1. open SKtool
2. select in view section Registry
3. select Registry Explorer
4. enter in to HKEY_LOCAL_Machine
5. open software
6. open Microsoft
7. open Today
8. open Items
9. open SPB Mobile Shell
10. change value 5 to 4
11. confirm OK
12. soft reset device

great program altogether! works well on our ppc 6700 and treo 700wx.

One of the best programs ever...

Finally I can use only one hand with my PDA without problems (except writing SMS`s).
The phone contacts search routine is also really great!

Much, much better then Easy PDA.

ALARM PROBLEM solved

This bug might be concerned not to Spb Mobile Shell, but ot Spb Backup, Spb Pocket Plus or some other app. It may happen because of errors in notification database. We have some workaround for this problem:

Please unzip and copy to the device, run and press 'clear alarms', it will delete all alarms in the notification database.

Thx I have done all that, but in fact what I wanted was to move the elements within the SPB MENU ( ie to have mortplayer inside "multimedia" instead of "programs". Is this possible ?

bobdenar, you can use Spb Pocket Plus to do something like you want. Then, create an icon on Spb Mobile Shell's bar. Like this (the 3rd icon on the bar):
