Not true, the support is crap and the programmer "mark" is a complete tool. He won't reply and when he finally gets around to it when you badger him, he will give you some bull about "its sold as-is" what kind of crap is that?

I honestly dont remember the procedure I used. I upgraded my iPaq to WM5 and after that I had the option to uninstall it. I think I had to create a registry entry that pointed to the uninstall info located in \windows\appmgr\

I don't even have the same PPC anymore and if its working for you, great, maybe he changed his support since then, its been a while.
