S2U2 v0.81 (Freeware)
Requirements: PPC WM5 / WM6
Overview: S2U2 is a simple lock/unlock application which has the iPhone style slide unlocking. It can be used as a screensaver while you don't use your device. S2U2 is the new version of Slide2Unlock because the old one is a RAM hunger and running it at Landscape mode caused a lot of troubles. So the author started to rewrite the whole thing in C++... and, here it is the new born baby - S2U2. As a new start, this is the most basic version, i.e. it does not have the Caller ID, unread xxx notifications, etc...


- added s2u2 Settings.exe for changing the settings of S2U2
- iLock2.exe no longer need to use the notification database
- when the screen is locked, only touch/move the slider will reset the idle time
- added option ACBlankOnTalk (similar to BlankOnTalk, but only effective when connected to external power)
- added the SMS unread count for Korean devices
- the CAB installation will not overwrite the previous settings of S2U2
- some minor bugs fixed

S2U2 v0.81 works v0.80 did not on T-Mobile MDA Compact III.

Found one bug, I assigned button 6 (default record button) to S2U2 and works ok except when using TomTom 6.035. The assigned button reverts back to recording from the TomTom screen and does not start S2U2.
However the workaround is to return to the today screen and use the assigned button. Then TomTom voice navigation will continue with the screen locked if the S2U2 "power off" setting is set to OFF.
Otherwise excellent.

Instructions:

• For the Slide2Unlock Skin just Copy the files into the GFX Folder and overwrite the original ones.
• If your Rom Cooker has skinned the Pin-Number input, and you want that black just delete the reg-key "HKLM/Security/ResOver/Bitmaps/BaseDll".
  I used the PHM Registry Editor
• Unfortunatly the Dialpad Skin will switch your Today Skin, too. So you have to switch the Today Skin again after you have installed the Dialpad

dear nephew! please update your profile and add your device information (see my sig.)

replace the wallpaper file in S2U2 folder with your favorite picture and soft-reset your device. the next time it's restarted, you'll see the new image as the background picture.

not working on ppc with landscape mode with screen resolution 320x240qvga any help in this direction...as ment only for ppc 240x340 resolution....

this S2U2 works really nice compared to the S2U. but i have one question, in the settings menu, can't the Clock be turned off? Can i only do that modifying the registry?
