Overview: This little plugin displays a skinnable analog clock on today screen, similar to those wall clocks



Main Features:
- Completely skinnable.
- Skins work like photoshop files (with layers).
- Antialiased-grade graphics quality, better than alternatives (namely spbclock).
- Can be centered, left, right aligned with a margin.
- Can create stunning effects: canvas shadows, hand shadows, transparent clocks, glass translucency, semi-transparency, etc...
- Real-time second hand motion (for fast PDAs).

How To Install:
- Download the CAB file attached to this post, run it, and install into internal memory.
- Put additional clock files (skins) into the install dir, then you can choose them in the plugin options.
- The CAB file already comes with 3 skins you may like or not.
- You're ready to go.

You can make your own skin with a software called REdit (runs on Windows PC and needs NET Framework 2.0).

Update Description:
v1.06c3:
- Fixed plugin didn't appear in Today settings in WM5 devices.
- Fixed slow application startup from desktop due to deadlock in slow priority code (introduced in 1.06c2 ).

Comment: This little application conjures a customizable nice analog clock to your PPC today screen. With just 165 kb on your RAM it is a real small tool. If this is too much for your Main memory it lets you choose it's installation location so you can install it to your memory card. For this test I installed it on my Main memory. After a short installation the analog clock is ready to use; you just need to enable it in your today screen options. Via the same menu you can change the clock's skin, its dimension and the second hand. You are warned not to use the second hand if you are using a slow ppc but on my Touch with its 201 MHZ it worked very fast and stable with no lags. Feel free to use other skins: just copy the files to your Program\Retro - folder. Now the skins are available in the options-menu. This plugin works on VGA and QVGA depending on the skin you use. Both skins work on both screentypes but if you use the wrong one it looks a bit strange and you will realize it quite fast . You can use this analog clock with applications like UltimateLaunch or SPB Pocket Plus for example so you can use this quite huge clock on your today screen without missing any other today plugins. If you are a SPB-user you should try out SPB Mobile Shell as well.
