You will need to uninstall the previous version before installing build 265
Otherwise some of the indicators are not showing,
maybe the settings file is not compatible between versions

I put back this version after I used 265 one for few days, cuz the 265 kept poping up the msg about being free software and so so, which caused any working software to shutdown including the phone during calls. Did Anybody have the same problem?

No, I'm using build 265 and I don't get any messages.

The scaler works perfectly (varies according to load): I've been using POcketHackMaster for the last year or so - it sometimes started the scaler on device startup, sometimes not  . AND, since I uninstalled PHM, my device doesn't freeze randomly.

Very efficient piece of software, it's now my scaler, task manager - and great plug-in/can also see CPU speed/RAM usage in the clock area at the top right of the screen (ie, while running other apps) - excellent

Hmm CPU scaler you say? I must have missed this. Had a look through the options again and I can't see where this is. It would be handy if I think what you are saying is that I can dynamically control the speed of the processor based on load, therefore improving my poor battery time!

@wam7

Bear in mind that this was developed for the Prophet, though I understand it's OK for all OMAP processors.

It's a bit tricky to find, this is how:

go to options, you have a series of tabs at the bottom "general", "indicator" - scroll to Omap.

Put a tick in the Overclock to Speed box (don't worry about the speed for the moment). While you're there, tick "overclock on wakeup" and "overclock after reboot".

Now go to the next tab (which may have been hidden if there were no ticks in the previous tab): CPUscaler. Tick "enable CPUscaler". The default values are OK. Also tick the "add boost" box.

Also, if there's an app you want to overclock, the next tab allows you to link the speed to the executable.

* Bear in mind that if you're connected to your PC/charging, the overclocking does not work (by design)

And here's the on-line help (well hidden, again):

This is a great program indeed!

But I seem to have a problem with it: whenever there is an "X" button at the top right corner of my HTC Touch, when I try to tap on the task manager's little arrow, the "X'' button gets tapped instead! :? This makes it useless on any screen other than Today!
Does anyone else have the same problem?

Also, I would appreciate it if someone could suggest me of another program that would help me handle all running application in means of minimizing, maximizing, closing, or switching between them, from any screen. I also have also tried tMan v0.9.9, but wasn't very satisfied with it.

Newest version is
1.05.0273
I'm running it on wm6 right now...but it's kinda buggy. Doesn't show up after I soft reset, and messes with HTC Home Plugin, making all tabs the "Home" tab.

Edit:
Seems to be working now, not sure what it was. I probably did something stupid. Works fine now.
