Overview: HomeScreen PlusPlus; formerly known as BatteryStatus, is a full-featured plugin that allows you to customize some indicators in the Today screen. By this way you will be able to know the status of the battery, memory or processor at a glance. The wide range of possibilities offered by HomeScreen PlusPlus can be set to be shown in Home or not.



Apart from the usual indicators of battery, when we'll use HomeScreen PlusPlus we'll find call and SMS counters, detailed info about the data transfers done, a program launcher, Wireless settings a task manager and more.

Comment: I am a bit hesitant to install today screen plugins because of battery consumption issues. My main concern with installing this plug-in is to monitor how much data I consume every time I connect to the internet, how much sms i send out every day, and how long my phone calls are, so that I won't go over my allotted budget every month for my phone plan.This software has helped me keep an eye on my budget, and I've discovered that it does more than that as well. this plug-in shows me at a glance what I need to know, how much data I'm sending and receiving (in bytes, kb, and MB), how many times I've connected to the internet, and for how long. It shows me how many minutes i spent on calls and how many sms i already sent.It also shows added indicators such as power drain, temperature, etc. It's a task manager as well, and provides an option to put tray launcher icons at the bottom of your today screen. I haven't yet tried this out but it is also supposed to fix the 10-second bug when you activate the feature to lock the device upon wakeup. All in all, I think the best thing I love about this software is that it does what it says it would, it doesn't hog the resources, and it's stable.(I'm not aware of other similar software that does all this one could do. Please feel free to PM me so I can revise this review and add those software as similar releases.)
