This doesn't seem to work on my HTC Touch and I'm guessing it's because I have the online status shut off both on my phone and through Sprint (I'm a little cheap). At the end of installation the program wants to open a browser window and I get an error message. The Today Screen shows the program graphics but none of the icons are tap-able.
