Wrong category. It is a usual app that has nothing to do with the today screen.

App is in Spanish, but it is self-explaining and doesn't use much text so you can use it very easy.

Works great on Diamond.

Hello everyone.

I am the author of this application.

Just wanted to say that it is not an application for Omnia, it is an application that can be used on almost any device with Windows Mobile.

It works perfectly on the Diamond because it is the PDA that I have :D

Sorry for my bad English.

The size of the pixels can not be changed and not in the future if you can do ...

The fonts can be customized in a future release.

By the way ... someone can change the URL for more info? The URL of the original theme is: http://www.htcspain.com/foro-f94/led-ba ... 14499.html
Here you can see versions 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4. It's where I come from the following versions and which calls please not publish the download links.

This program displays messages across the screen as a light panel (in small).

Should not be used as a screen saver because the battery would be spent very quickly ...

Gotta tell you, I've had an awful lot of fun with this so far! :D

Mind if I throw in a lengthy wish list for this, Pebels?

• Non-moving pixel background (in other words, the entire pixel display appears first, instead of seeing it cross the screen with the text).

• A random option for the colors, either by changing the color each time the text cycles through, or by changing it continuously.

• As someone else said, a size option for the pixels. These are nice, but it would also be nice to have some big, clunky, more LED-like pixels also.

• English instructions as well as Spanish. (My Spanish is lousy, but I'll gladly help where I can.)

• A screen rotation option. I can rotate the screen orientation with my phone, but it's annoying to do. Would be nice to be able to rotate it 180 degrees in the program itself.

• As an ultimate wish list item, how about a way to enter your own pixel data? I think it would be ultra-awesome to be able to create a simple graphic (GIF or BMP, for example) and have the program translate it into a pixel display. (And ideally, with each pixel its own color, instead of monochrome coloring.) Fun!

Thanks for the post, dxdy!

EDIT: Oh yeah, confirmed working beautifully on HTC TyTN/WM 6.1 at QVGA.

I do not understand what you mean ...

• A random option for the colors, either by changing the color each time the text cycles through, or by changing it continuously.

I said but ... surely will make the application slower between pass and pass phrases.

• As someone else said, a size option for the pixels. These are nice, but it would also be nice to have some big, clunky, more LED-like pixels also.

It is not possible. If you look at the screen in landscape, always have the same number of LEDs to operate in vertical according to the fonts. Horizontally, the number of LEDs may vary depending on screen resolution.

• English instructions as well as Spanish. (My Spanish is lousy, but I'll gladly help where I can.)

As before ... I said ...

• A screen rotation option. I can rotate the screen orientation with my phone, but it's annoying to do. Would be nice to be able to rotate it 180 degrees in the program itself.

That problem is to write with the physical keyboard? Is prepared to write in portrait mode. Then turn the PDA to display the message.

If the problem is to write with the physical keyboard, try to do something.

I am almost ready for an editor in which the sources can also include images. For now, all the pixels have to be the same color.

Sorry my English.

dxdy, thanks for editing the first post. You only miss a detail ... not based on the application of htcspain, really is the same application.

Thanks again.

Nice app!
Works, but when i change the text message, i have always an error message. Then i must restart my ppc. With Led Banner 1.3 everything is fine.
