i had the same issue with phone appearing to be unusable after soft reset, this happened each time i reset the phone. That is until i reset the device and hit the hardware button i have on my titan that brings up the start menuas soon as the phone got past all the start screens. this appeared to interrupt the start up process that has an issue with iphonetoday and bugs out and freezes the phone. i was than able to remove the program. i to thought i was facing a hard reset but this just happened to work.
remember, this is a bata for testing that the poster yanked from xda, it is going to have issues. once the program reaches 1.0 the developer will have worked out all of these issues. give it two weeks than check back, you will likely find a more stable build is coming
