I have the same problem!!
If I click in the advanced layout on the weather button to select a city, he start to load and stays there untill I restart.
Can anyone help me?
I din't have this issue with v3 but eversince I installed this one I had that same issue. I also see substantial decrease in battery life since I installed this or previous spb shell. Others I know that use it say they don't notice. I am tested tf3d again to see if its a big difference.

I also have this weather problem (o2 xda orbit/ htc p3300). When I tap the Select town, it gets stucked at loading the cities and the hour glass remains on the screen forever, the only I can do is a soft reset..
Anybody has a better idea or a workaround?

I had this problem as well. I decided to install SPB Weather (found in this thread http://forum.ppcwarez.org/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=60805) and it has worked great since then. Being as they are both SPB software, there is an option to integrate the SPB Weather app into the Mobile Shell (by default, it automatically does this after you install SPB Weather.
