Heads up for Kaiser users. This app, while amazing, is a huge battery drain.

I've been using/testing this app for some time, and I get about 3 hours of battery with minimal phone usage, and only 6 with no phone usage. If you are a heavy texter, or use apps alot on your Kaiser, this program isn't for you. I get about 1 1/2 hours of heavy texting/heavy app use (switching between apps/going from today screen to texting, therefore loading the SPB shell multiple times).

So if on a typical days use of your Kaiser, I'd say you get about 2 hours of battery time tops. Not very useful.

yes i also noticed that. my battery drains faster when using spb shell..
im testing how long will my battery last if im not using this apps..

This works great on Sprint HTC Touch Diamond w/ Juicy 8 cooked ROM. Battery usage is normal. I found a glitch in the 3D display though. When 3D Acceleration is turned on, sometimes when you switch from one screen to another, you get a few seconds pause. I turned it off, and now it's flawless.

Has anyone figured out how to modify the menus like the ones from SPB Mobile Shell 2? I'd like to add menu items and change menu styles to grid, etc.

Tested it for more than a month. This 1 will reduce my battery life by a day. With 3.0 i can get 1 week + 1 day battery life. With 3.01, i get slightly less than 1 week battery life. So there ya go.

After a few week after installation, when i get a message, SPB doesn't show that i got it and sometime the phone crashes. I got Omnia.
Can anyone help with this?
I tried reinstalling the application, but it's helpless anyway..

i've a problem with the E-Mail icon on Todyscreen. I see allways 8 E-Mail's, but this 8 Mail's are deleted.
1. Icon is E-Mail incoming ( Problem )
2. Icon is SMS
3. Icon is missed Calls

I hope you know what i mean.

i found the solution. it's a bug of MS3.

The Solution = Close MS3 and go back to the original Homescreen for a few seconds. Delete the Incoming Dial's, SMS, Missed Call's.

Then start MS3 and the Display is empty.

when I go to weather device starts to load but it just stays there untill i restart the whole device anybody have same problem?

If I click in the advanced layout on the weather button to select a city, he start to load and stays there untill I restart.
Can anyone help me?

I had exactly the same problem with the weather option (and some of the SPB icons appeared slightly corrupted) so I downloaded the trial version from the SPB site (version 3.0.1 build 6501) and then registered it with the serial from the 1st post. It now works fine for me. Perhaps the CAB in the 1st post has been modified/damaged?

Does anyone know if SPB Mobile Shell can be made to close (rather than minimise) a program when the [X] button is clicked? If not what would be the best utility to install to add this capability?
