SBSH PocketBreeze v5.2 Public Beta 6

Overview: Use your Today screen for more than just good looks - a Today plug-in that replaces your built-in Calendar and Tasks on your Today screen, offering a much more powerful solution.

We've implemented LOTS of changes with this new PocketBreeze 5.2, and I really hope all of our users will enjoy them. Apart from new features and fixes, we've been putting major focus and effort on making the new PocketBreeze 5.2 more user friendly and easier than ever to use. I believe that this is something that users will notice from the very first moment they install the new PocketBreeze version, starting with the new, simpler and more user friendly, installation dialog, through all of the other new PocketBreeze sections and changes.
Public Beta Notice: With this new version we finally completed all of the planned changes in the different translation files for the new upcoming PocketBreeze 5.2 release and we are now planning to get ready working on updating the PocketBreeze translation files with all of the new translation additions and changes that were introduced with the new PocketBreeze version. More instructions regarding the translations update will be sent to the PocketBreeze translators separately in the next few days.
What's new in PocketBreeze 5.2 Public beta 4
* New option "Use Preview Dialog upon DPad action click" added on the Contacts General settings allowing to use a new popup contact Preview Dialog when clicking the D-Pad action button on a contact item. Using the new Preview Dialog users can view a contact details easily using only the D-Pad control. Phone Edition users can choose a specific phone number to dial to that specific contact using the D-Pad navigation only.
* Three new caption buttons added to the new contact Preview Dialog allowing to easily open the contact using the PIM dialog, open the contact in edit mode or delete the contact. Offering a shortcut to the contact related context menu common options at the top caption bar of the dialog.
* New option "Use preview dialog when opening contact" added on the Contacts tab settings. When checked PocketBreeze will open the new contact Preview Dialog instead of opening the contact using the PIM.
* Single tapping an item using the stylus on the new contact Preview Dialog will now also perform the clicked action, similar to the action performed when clicking the D-Pad action button on an item in the new contact Preview Dialog.

If you are using ContactBreeze on your device please uninstall it before installing the new version of PocketBreeze on your device since the new version implements its own Contacts tab with it

Ummm... There is no Beta 2 on SBSH's official forums so how do you have it? SBSH doesn't even have it listed anywhere so where did you find it and is it even official?

Open your eyes, please.

Click on the HERE button in the start-topic, look under top12, read "Download PocketBreeze 5.2 Public Beta 1" and find a link to Beta 2.

Because if you eyes are open then you'd see Amit, head programmer of SBSH clearly lists it as PocketBreeze 5.2 Public Beta 1! No where in his post is it listed "Public Beta 2"!

I think that's an oversight on Amit's part for not updating the number of the beta in his thread with the link because when you download from the link he lists, unzip it and check the README file, it shows the change log with fixes and it lists "Beta 2".

The link is clearly labeled as public beta 2, that's what brtroi is refering to.

update: nm. i just wanted to see if serial.txt was any different; guess the same serial for these beta releases work across the board. :wink:
