Can anyone else confirm if this release of TomTom with WM6 (Crossbow) freezes while in use- imagine the scenario, I've been driving along for some time and I notice the screen is saying I haven't progress ... it's frozen! I can tap the screen and click okay, but it doesn't stop the fact that TOM TOM is freezing on me intermittently and I could quite easily miss a turn or direction.

Anyone?

I havent used this version of TomTom with WM6, when installed on my Universal. But I used it a lot with WM2003SE and WM5. I never had the problem you declared to have.
But, any way, it does not seem to freezed your ppc. It seems to be a "delay" of the program. maybe due to some other applications installed.
I dont think that it is caused only by this TomTom version.

I have noticed a strange thing today:
So far I've been using tomtom traffic without any subscription or whatever, I just used to hit tomtom traffic button and it downloaded all information needed, but today it asked me for username and pass. It's strange, what happened has tomtom changed policy or it's a software bug?
In the past it would ask me for account name and pass only for tomtom plus services, but not for traffic service.
Has anybody experienced the same thing?

For what I know, TomTom Traffic service it is free for one month. after that you have to register (and pay) at TomTom site for this service.

Well, I've been using this for lot more than a month, besides it never asked me for any registration the very first time in order to use it for free, cause I think I've always been logging in as anonymous user.

hummmmm ... anonymous user ?? I think that with the connection to TomTom site, the ID of your device was always transmitted. So, no anonymous connection to TomTom in this way.
But, one question: do you have this problem after installation of this TomTom version ?? Or it has been installed (and TomTom traffic used) before you noted this issue ??

Probbably you're right, I forgot about device id.
Actually I've tried traffic option since I got this version, never did it before.

I installed this on my Treo 700w and I cant connect to my BT-338. I have the two paired. keeps on saying Connecting to GPS.

What are the setting I need to use?
What Com Port?

I have tt6 v6.030.8320 running OK on my ppc.
I have searched without success to find a symbian version 6 that would run on my Nokia 6260. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

works great on my ppc6700 with aku 3.5 rom. Im using the older map version 650.1112 BTW you dont need the older version installed or anything. Just put it on your memory card/device and run the program.

Unfortunately, 6.03 has the fatal "memory access error" for many PNA users, no matter what. Hopefully future version will be more PNA friendly.

Same on my iPAQ HW6915. Any fix for this yet? Versions up to 6.02 (I think, maybe .1 below) work whereas this gives the error. Would like to run this one cuz of the faster rendering...

how did you use the Radar Warnings? Have anyone the TomTom Plus cracked or something? I need very important a good Radar Warner because when i start the Poi Warner 2 for TomTom, then my HTC Hermes will hang up.

I hope someone can help me.

Take a look at my posts in the main POIWarner for Tomtom thread about using a ramdisk - this can sometime help. Make sure you do not have too many POI categories visible in Tomtom - this will jam things up too. I use GPSgate and POIObserver (tricky to set up, but can be used for multiple GPS programs and does not slow things down).

I have installed 6.030.8320 and it works fine with NY map 665.1294 but i can't get it to work with european maps at all. so the question is :

What maps should work with 6.030.8320, i mean which versions ?
