Does anyone know of a way to make the full 7 digit UK postcode lookup work on this release? I have installed on 2 different devices and only get 4 digit lookup.

re traffic, hmm, it appears the traffic is tied to your device ID and not your account. So when you activate it your in limbo, it works but will only last for the 30 days trial. After you register on tomtom plus and then associate with your device you can see the length of your traffic sub. 30 days :(

@Guest, 7digit postcodes work fine. You need to install the postcode file from vertion 5. I placed mine in a folder called ZIP in the root of my memory card. I have an install which will just do it all for you if you need it.

Instructions:
1) Download the file to your SD card.
2) Run the file on your device
3) When prompted for the location select where you want to install to (recommend your SD card as its 10mb)

This is the zip code from map version v605 and as far as I know the latest postcode file available.

thats it, fire up tomtom and it should now see all postcodes. It will also do full 7 digit postcode as long as you also have a tomtom folder in the root of your SD card.

All maps for v5 and v6 http://colo.grahovo.si/TomTom/

but be warned. the all western europe are huge and so far my download is saying 36 hours to complete.

TTNv6 install. Same as the master one on the first post but with the following chnages.

* You can now select where you want it installed. Old version always installs to device memory, if you select SD card the main application will now be installed on SD.

* Remove programs now just shows "TomTom Navigator 6".

All you then need are some maps and voices. The full package can be found on the first post.

I tried to install your cab on a Wm2003se PDA and get an error that it's not a valid Win CE setup file. Installation also failed on a Wm5 emulator.

Mercenary, many thanks for the postal file...This works fine on my WM5 device - but the extracted postal file put into the same location on my WM2003 device still does not give me the full 7 digit lookup. I have tried removing the tomtom folder from the root of the sd card and re-adding it but still only 4 digits. Any ideas? I am assuming that there is the same functionality regardless of OS version?
