This is the correct link to: Maps coverage, but I guess that 18 pages of posts aren't enough to let ppl to understand this simple axiom:

What You See Is What You Get !

There are guyz in this board who cracked and PUBLISHED to everybody tt6 in two days. STOP!

Isn't that enough, for the very first 48hrs after this software official release ?
Can't wait some days more to let someone catching those precious maps ?

Available maps are those you can see on the first post.
PLEASE, for map requests, use the request forum

hi,

thanks very much for this software - its working a treat!
however, i am a little confused as to how i am supposed to get the 7digit uk postcodes working - its a bit of an issue.

i read something about a 'ZIP' folder and a specific registry key, but where is this zip folder located?

please reply, thatd really make this just amazing!

make a folder called Zip and then put the nederland.postal or Great_Britain.postal in the Zip folder.

put the Zip folder on a storage card.

now create another folder and call it TomTom. And put that folder also on the storage card.

Just want to point out something, the link shows UK TomTom site with all products in the menu:

http://www.tomtom.com

If you click on the drop-down list on the top right and select Australia, you will not see TomTom Navigator 6 / PDA product in the menu for Australian TomTom site.

yeah it is possible from 5.21 but there is one diffrence between them

in tomtom 5.21 you could chose which postal u wished to use

* Netherlands
* Great Britain

the option in tomtom 6 is gone, you only can use one .postal file

This was perfectly possible in version 5 but I don't see this option now :-(

Are there not any software apps for your device to perform this function??

There are apps I could run on my WM5 but we have the settings option.

Not in TT6 but on our device setting menu.

So logic would suggest that you could get an app for yours.

hi,

just to confirm i did exactly as you said -

made the Zip and tomtom folders on my storage card
got the great_britain_postal.cab from colo.gravaho.si and took out of it the file called GREAT_~1.001 ( the 10mb file) and i renamed it to great_britain.postal and put it in the zip folder on the storage card.

i then made the new key in regedit hkcu\software\tomtom and called it postcodes

i then went and made a new string value called Great_britain

and pointed it to the zip folder (\Storage Card\Zip) and it worked!

can you please explain the better way to install on the sd card?
thanks
