Just to clarify something: The North American maps from the sexuploader site is actually 1.07GB compressed and 1.2GB uncompressed right?

The info on the first page states it's 1.44GB.

Hi Twingo

Thanks for the download site, I now have Western Europe, sitting on my desktop unpacked 916 MB (961,224,704 bytes).

On TomTom site they state coverage as:

Great Britain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Andorra

What extra do you get with Western & Central europe 1.55 GB?

I can not find any reference to it on TomTom site.

Thanks.

Also if I try to flips screen fisrt to start TomTom I must SOftReset my device due to TomTom crash...

Godspeed wrote:huean,

i had the same problem.. see what worked for me and for user Dogspyd3r at page 23.

Thanks for pointing out the solution, I must have missed it ..... (there are too many posts .....)

It took a few hours and a lot of stress but I got it working .....

Thanks to all.

To the moderators: For such hot release maybe you can keep 1 thread for the release itself plus some additional posts for solving problems, and another for posts, requests, messages, etc. Anyway, thanks!
