That's funny because it definitely does NOT work on the HP 6915. If someone has found a way to make it work, please share. I got it to work on my 6515 copying two files back to it, but it refuses to see the GPS reciever built in to the 6915 no matter what settings I use.

Figured I should go ahead and log in this time.

OK. Found the solution to make TT6 work on the 69XX. Go into your registry at: HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE>System>CurrentControlSet>GPS Intermediate Driver and change the key for IsEnabled from 1 to 0.

After you do that it will communicate with the internal GPS.

Also make sure u repack it in the cab, and delete setup.dll from the cab, else it wont install.

Finally remove the palm folder from the release if you didnt already.

With the disciption you provide into the code, with what tool did you do that and with value do i need te replace it?

@MERCENARY/PUKKER AND ALL -

Hi guys - Here's an update on the bluetooth handsfree headset problem with TomTom 6 and Windows 2003se on my XDA11i - I THINK it's FINALLY FIXED!! :D -
Sorry about this long post but it might help somebody else now or in the future with a similar problem. Here's what i did since the last posting (and this is the edited short version!!) -
After reading comments etc posted here i decided to uninstall everything including handsfree and GPS and start again by reinstalling TT5.21 and reinstalling TT6 over the top of that - did all that - still NOT working! - Uninstalled it all again. Downloaded MERCENARYS PPC version for TomTom 6 from the new links at bottom of his posts - Paired the handsfree - installed TT6 - configured the GPS - tried it, - all working! - tried update traffic, all okay! - Changed battery and XDA11i does a soft reset when you do that. - NOT WORKING AGAIN!!! :(
Had a look round xda-developers site found the bluetooth stack that matched the one on my XDA - (Broadcom 3900) - downloaded the cab files for this, in case any of the files on my xda were missing or corrupt, - put them on to sd card - run it - still not working.!! :?
Then had another look around - found cab files for something called A2DP at this link -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=49573 (I think you might have to register to download)-
downloaded the cab run it from the sd card did a soft reset - paired the handsfree using standard handsfree option - (A2DP has now given me more options in bluetooth manager eg: high quality audio and bluetooth keyboard) - At first it didn't look as if it was connected but when i looked in Active Connections it was there! so i tapped for status and it HAD connected. -
I started TomTom 6, updated traffic ok - tried switching handsfree on and off - made a phone call using it - tried all sorts of combinations and YES IT'S STILL WORKING!! so far so good! I hope this helps if anyone else has bluetooth problems.
:? :? On another note RE MAPS - i have downloaded some of the new ones ( i will be making a donation to the "make xdaminis a WRZ$ millionare fund") and i have a question that i hope you can answer -
I have got TT6 running mainly from the SD card so if i put some of the other maps on another card (with the cracked Guam map of course) would i be able to take out the original card and put the map card in and select a map or would i need to also add some of the TomTom 6 stuff from navigator or somewhere to this map card???
Thanks guys to all of you that helped me with this problem and hopefully it is now sorted, i'm loving my tomtom6 despite my headaches with bluetooth and this site is the best!!
cheers from pistebeast

If you have all your tomtom stuff installed to the device you just need an SD with the map, but if like me you have rasters, voices and more also on the SD you will also need this on any SD you install.

Although, Ive just moved my voices and TomTom app to the internal memory, it speeds up loading by quite a bit and also running is smoother. All thats on my SD now is maps (with pois), rasters and Zip codes.

Okay - got that - so move navigator folder back in to program files on device except for rasters and zips - presumably 'cos these are all to do with maps - cheers Mercenary, thanks again

PLEASE HELP ME, ALWAYS SAYS: CANNOT FIND ANY MAP

Hi to all friends of this very nice forum about TomTom. I tested one time in one memory card 1GB SD Ifalleni tomtom and works good also with Western European Countries. After I had to format my card and to reinstall it again: NOTHING TO DO FOR DAYS !!!

MY DEVICE IS: Ipaq Hp 2210 WM 2003

I still cannot install it again, I tested all files (or a lot of files downloaded here, different setup, ifalleni, Twingo... and others) BUT
Nothing to do, I can install it, TomTom can be RUN but always cannot find any map but Guam, Only Guam. When I put inside with the same name of directory Western_Europe and inside I put (I unzip the map of Western Europe) I RESET MY DEVICE (Ipaq Hp 2210) and when I start TOMTOM says: CANNOT FIND ANY MAP

Please help me, PLEASE HELP ME, I GO MAD, because One time I could see it work and now I cannot see again.

* I also used Resco Registry Editor to find any tomtom link and I clean it before I install it again.

Is it possible that before I put ifalleni tomtom (that works) I had TomTom 5?

Marius2000

I tried to put other maps like ITALY MAP and WORKS, I can see Italy map but never Western_Europe

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

Thanks.

I put out file .pna and I see again, nothing to do. It is the same.

I would like to ask you something. Is here any utility to create an image file (iso) of a SD card to put temporary on my hd and after put in another SD card?

I had in the past Western_Europe Working good and now I want back again. If I put other maps, these go well. At first I thougth that only GUAM goes but now I tried also Italy and another map and I see that goes.

The Western_Europe no.

Have any idea?
