today and bluetooth gps is all built into all the installers ive seen.

the only thing not included is contacts lookup but thats because you now do it direct from teh app and it works much better

reported the other guy to ebay.

hypocrit, maybe, but we all know cracking and downloading for free is wrong, to sell somone elses work that somone else cracked is just wrong. I say that because my brother makes a very well known 3D training DVD and some guy was selling them on ebay for £5. Using a few tricks we easily found out his real name, where he lived, his favorite movie and best of all his mobile number. We gave him a call, it was some school kid who ended up shitting himself and pulled all his ebay auctions. When he found out we knew where he lived he orignially denied it was him then fessed up and sounded very scared.

So remember, the internet is not as anonymous as you might think. :twisted:

I am using Dell Axim x50v and the tomtom maps are in SD card. But whenever the CF card present in the device, Tomtom says No Maps found. Is there a solution for this. Thanks for your help

Anyone figure out a workaround for the volume for TT6? The volume for TT5 was independent of the system volume control, but now with TT6, the volume is tied directly to the system volume.

Anyone figure out a way to have the volume for TT6 at max automatically without having to keep the system volume at max all the time?

I have a problem with the version 6.01 of TomTom and my HTC Alpine.
I have installed before version 6.00, and it works very well. Absolutely no problem.
After this I download version 6.01 (ifalleni and Mercenary version too) and before install it, I completely uninstall the previous 6.00 tomtom from my ppc.
But now, even if I have Guam map on my SD, I have always the message "Impossible to find Maps".
I have tried both installation, ifalleni and Mercenary, but the problem is still the same.

Is there someone who can help me ??

Thanks a lot in advance.

@Cencio and Lister of Smeg

See my post on page 11 of this thread - you don't have to install the brainwave cab anymore but just see the bit about folder 2577 - it worked for me on my Alpine(XDA2i)

@Cencio and Lister

If you are not too sure about my instructions - try this:-

Make a folder for your sd card, call it 2577. Then open notepad, dont type anything but just save it as Autorun.exe - (make sure it doesn't add .txt on the end) - Then put this file into the Folder 2577 and move the folder to your sd card where your maps are - should all work then
cheers

Hi Twingo,

Erm, it's tricky to do a Hard Reset on my device, as I am using a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gizmondo.... and as the rest of the unit is working fine, I'll prolly leave this as a very last measure....

Hi Pistebeast,

I tried making a 2577 folder (well, I already had one, with a few other exe's in there) tried with them in, and without them other than autorun.exe, no joy :(. I tried with a Guam maps folder too.... nothing, its not seeing the 104Mb GB one... :(

Hi Cencio,

Glad ya got it sorted in the end, although I wish mine was that easy... :( lol

Hi all,

I dont get it, as v6.000 worked fine.... it saw the maps, and regged them... now with v6.010 it doesnt see anything... :( Grrrrrr :( lol

Cheers,

Lister

@Lister
i don't know if this will help but this is how my sd card looks:-

2577
GB Map
Guam
ITN
RASTER
SCHEMES
TOMTOM
VOICES
ZIP

then a file - ttnavigator 314B

I know it's a silly question but you are using the latest GB Map yeah??
